Product Info

Highest detailed map of Baja & Mainland Mexico available for GPS upload. With the well researched Baja GPS Guidebook routes & tracklogs to follow, the Map E32 is a highly recommended added extra, creating a very powerful navigation package.... right on your GPS screen!

The MAP E32 is a topographical map of the Baja Peninsula, and main land Mexico (including Copper Canyon) for uploading specifically to Garmin GPS devices.  This map was designed with great focus on off-roading, dirt biking, 4x4, ADV, ATV, mountain biking, hiking, and other creative outdoor activities.

Compatibility:  Any Garmin GPS that interacts wtih Basecamp (Garmin's free software) or Map Source (older version Garmin GPS's software) is compatible with the Map E32

Purchase Options: With the purchase of the Map E32, you own only one license for one Garmin GPS upload.  There is an affordable option to Purchase a maximum of two additional licenses (2 more GPS can be uploaded) for a discounted price.  SEE: Additional GPS Upload Licenses.  When you purchase, count the number of GPS you would like uploaded and then purchase the Map E32 and up to a quantity of 2 Additional GPS Upload Licenses.  If you need further uploads, purchase the Map E32 again along with the additional uploads you require.  One license can also be used as an additional download to a 2nd computer (instead of GPS) as well.  .

How it Works:  After ordering, an email is sent to you for gathering information to generate an unlock code for each GPS.  Once we receive your response information details, a reply email will include a LINK for download to your computer. A video tutorial is included (step-by-step). The map is installed 1st to Basecamp or MapSouce Software (Free from Garmin) on your PC or MAC.  The GPS then connects to your computer for upload from Basecamp.  Now not only can you follow the Baja GPS Guidebook routes & tracklogs, but you can see road and topo features all around our point to point (gas-station to gas-station) fun-filled choreographed trails!  Once your GPS is loaded with the Guide Rides & Map E32, read the volume 1 entry pages to prep for success and bbraaap... you're riding the most epic off road trails Baja has to offer safely, simply, and accurately!

Space: To upload the entire Map E32 of Baja & Mexico mainland, you need 700MB of built-in memory space.  To upload just the Baja portion of the Map E32, you need 50MB of space.  Check the amount of built-in memory and keep in mind that MB are smaller than GB.  If you choose to upload to external memory (a chip), you will need at least 1GB of memory for the entire map.  If you are only traveling Baja with no plans for mainland Mexico, load just Baja and save the space.

Map Details include contour lines every 30 meters, highways, roads, dirt roads, rivers (mostly dry in Baja), railroad tracks, cities, towns, airports, hills, points of interest, state borders, and lakes & dams. There are 250 cities on this map including Tijuana and Mexicali (making border crossings easier) as well as La Paz, Copper Canyon and Chihuahua.  The Map E32 also includes waypoints for towns, ranches, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, etc.  You can upload the entire map of Baja and Mainland Mexico, or just the sections you want.  The Map E32 does not include the Baja GPS Guidebook's carefully researched off-road routes and tracklogs that navigate you gas-station to gas=station on trails, washes, roads, single tracks, and roads.

Baja Race Courses: I am often asked about detailed maps for racing NORRA or the SCORE Baja 1000, Baja 500, San Felipe 250, etc.  The Map E32 is the most detailed map option available and highly used by the Baja race community. It has the most complete dirt road and topo coverage of the Baja Peninsula and includes elevation contour lines every 30 meters for all of Baja.  While the Map E32 does offer some details on following old race courses, BEWARE that the race courses use private property sections that are CLOSED other than race times.  The guidebook routes keep you in the areas that keep the peace with private property owners and keep you out of areas that may not be so friendly.  Also, make sure to research which races are happening during your trip times and which direction the race and pre-runners will be traveling.  It is imperative that you move along the race courses in the SAME DIRECTION for the safety of everyone.

Timing to receive: Once we receive your response information details, we need 1-3 (Mon-Thurs) days to reply an email with a LINK for loading (there is no shipping).

Warning:  While we personally use and enjoy referencing this map while navigating the Baja GPS Guidebook Routes & Tracklogs, we DO NOT recommend scouting unknown properties with this map alone ........If you are traveling any roads or trails on this map that are not being navigated and fully described in the Baja GPS Guidebooks, there can be potential dangers including but not limited to illegal and malicious plantations, hostile private property owners, surprise/blind terrain hazards, and Map E32 or other Map inaccuracies causing gas range, navigation, an other issues.  The Baja GPS Guidebooks offer these important specifics; keeping you safe and keeping the peace with the amazingly fabulous local people.

COMMON QUESTION: Can you navigate the Baja GPS Guidebook without the Map E32?  Yes, once the Baja GPS Guidebooks are uploaded to your GPS, no map is necessary.  Just follow your GPS point to point safely, simply, and accurately by watching your location (a triangle-shaped icon) move along the route or tracklog line.  If you veer off the line, just navigate back to the line.  It's near impossible to get lost.  With the Map E32, the guidebook navigation isn't any different, but you will see topo lines, washes, roads, and paved roads on the map along with the Guidebooks' route and tracklogs that lead you on epically choreographed routes including route ratings, details, and area facts.
